I don't know why many people advise other people to read self-help books a lot. Today I will tell you the reality of reading self-help books.
I don't know WHy nobody talks about this.
We must have to realize this we have limited time on this planet. So we have to decide which self-help book is good for us and only read that book. And do not fill the mind with other garbage that does not help to grow you.
I think many people think that by reading several self-help books their life will get changed but in real life only get changed when we implement the knowledge gain from a self-help book. If we do not implement the knowledge that we do not know anything this is the fact.
I always say that do not read many books only read some books then apply the knowledge in your field. Those separate successful people from unsuccessful ones.
This era is era information. Othe the matter of a single key click, we will get countless information. Sometimes we will get confused with the knowledge we have got from different books because they contradict each other.
Instead of filling the mind with crap( i use this word crap for a reason) only fill it with the stuff that is good and important for you. Never give a shit about other people's opinions.

One thing I understand from my life is that we always do what we like. Whether we agree or not that is a different thing. But if we want to really change ourself we have to change our environment because the environment is more powerful than will power
for this, I will give three examples.
suppose you want to develop a habit of awareness then first make your environment in such a way that you can easily aware in your life. like for awareness most important key is silence and awareness itself. This means if you want to develop your awareness first avoid multitasking. Avoiding multitasking influence you to become more silent internally and externally. Here avoiding multitask is an environment that influences our habit of being aware.
the second example is about quitting the sugar from our life. Do you know sugar is harmful to our life and it is also addictive as cocaine and heroin?
First, I already said that the environment influences our habits. To quit sugar first thing you can do is never buy the sugar. If in your home there is no sugar how can you consume sugar?
By not buying sugar you are creating an environment that supports your habit to quit sugar.
My last example is about reading self-help books. suppose you do not have a habit to read the book you can do one thing is by keeping book at the side of your pillow. Every day read very little day by day you are finding that you are interested in reading a book.
In my early 20s, I found this secret that to change our habits we must have changed our environment. But most of the people do not know this secret they are struggling in their whole life to change their habit but are not able to do so. that's why I titled this blog post as to why nobody talks about this.

As in my earlier blog post I already said that we are the product of our habit thus first we have to make our habit then the habit will make us. Most people think that forming a new habit is challenged but in reality, it is very easy to change the habit by simply changing the environment. Without changing the environment changing the habit is a very difficult task. Thus first change your environment then the environment will influence you to change your habit that's all.
Conclusion:
In this blog, I only talk about reading a necessary self-help book and implement the knowledge in my own life. It is good to read the self-help book but reading unnecessarily is completely a waste of time. I also discuss how our environment influences our habits. If we change our environment we can influence our habits. Thus in order to change our habits first, we have to work on our environment. this is the secret that nobody talks about.
